Who needs an exorcist when you have the courts?
An Austrian man was plagued for weeks by what seemed to be a ghostly presence in his house: echoing footsteps in the hallways, doors slamming on their own, and just, generally ghostly sorts of things. Rather than calling a priest, the man called the police, who then videotaped the ‘ghost’: a 42 year-old Polish woman married to one of the man’s employees.
She was arrested and convicted on charges of nuisance. Her motivations for becoming a spectral impersonator are unknown.
